It's no secret that Johnny Gat is probably the biggest Saints Row character, apart from yourself of course, ever to grace that little flat screen of yours. Well, maybe its a 50" screen but anyway. With that said, Deep Silver have announced a new standalone expansion called 'Gat out of Hell' which will have you stepping into the shades of the Gat himself. After the events of Saints Row IV, the gang decide to relax with a nice game of good old-fashioned, piss off demons with a Ouija Board! Hooray!
This of course ends in nonsense/hilarity/action and you're thrown into the depths of hell, forced to combat demons, the horrors of the underworld and eventually the big cheese himself. The Devil.
"After the space faring antics of Saints Row IV, many fans asked what we could do next… the answer? Shoot The Devil in the face. Play as either Johnny Gat or Kinzie Kensington as you tear apart Hell in a quest to save the leader of the Saints’ soul. Historical icons, old friends, older enemies, a talking gun, a full length musical number, and a whole lot of other shenanigans all await you in the open world standalone expansion playground that is Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell."
If this is already sounding like a hot prospect to you, check out the trailer below and expect to see it hitting current and next-gen consoles as well as PC on January 27th next year!
BUT WAIT! As hot as this sounds, it doesn't end there. Deep Silver are also throwing a fresh lick of paint on Saints Row IV and delivering it in a nice little package for both the Xbox One and PS4, entitled Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. So if you missed out on the games initial release, you could always wait a little longer and play it with some extra HD!
You can get your hands on the Re-Elected edition on January 27th also!
